Wicked problem: acceptance of #electrictransport

Acceptance of electric transport
This is about acceptance in the widest sense of the word: reserved parking spots are in place to facilitate people to charge their cars, in case you wish to install an express charge point you can count on public support too. Electric transport is no longer fiction, yet for many it still seems to be so. This is a common quest of this century towards adopting new behavior by embracing change. Humans naturally tend to stick to what is known.
How can you create more acceptance for electric vehicles as a clean and sustainable means of transport? In the city, more charging points appear every week, but petrol cars can’t park at these stations. This causes dissatisfaction for people with fossil fuel cars. We need a creative and effective way for people to adapt to this technological progress.
Question: How to increase acceptance of electric transport as a common, innovative and clean means of transport?
Floris van Elzakker:
I would be very interested to see whether the start-ups can use their fresh perspective to come up with a brilliant idea that reflects the wishes of both the municipality and the residents.
